july

i went for the odac camp along with jezz! haha. it was really very fun although i fell sick the second day. yea, so poor thing rite.. :( i think i ate like 4 panaldols during that camp la. haha. ok, aside from that, the camp was really enjoyable. odac seniors are hell funny la.. oh! n thanks to our dear jezz, people in odac now knows that my other name is bird... n they actually call me bird lo. yea, so now i gt people calling me "BIRRDD" along the SIM hallway. haha.
my sis n bro graduated from ntu. so im the only student left in this family. n i won't have the company of my sis when i mug thru the nite now.. so sad. i'll be the only one hiding behind my notes n slogging my ass off......

school starts. first day turned out pretty well although i went for socio lect alone... yea, alone! but i managed to make frens with de other "alone ppl" haha. den i met jezz for lunch n made frens with her frens... heh! i tell u by the time i graduate frm SIM, my social skills will be suberb lo. haha.
IBM(Introduction to Business Management), Econs n Maths are the other modules im taking this year. n i reckon that i'll be reading til my eyes pop!
somebody need to save me from maths lect!! super boring! no wonder i always fall asleep during maths in cj.. *recalls mrs tai* hahah!! "eh! do ur maths!" haha!
lecturers in SIM are lame. seriously.
too many familiar faces in SIM. mostly from cj. my econs lect has gt like 10 over cj gals. just imagine lo. haha. n there were a couple of crescent girls too! n i saw frens from ngee ann who were stealing SIM resources n trespassing SIM. (ok, they were act lunching at SIM's cafateria n passing thru SIM to go to the busstop) haha.
realised that this world is tooo damn small. my ex is studying in the same sch as me.(no, not fel)
decided to live the healthy lifestyle! hur hur! gonna start swimming regularly. n i just went rock-climbing with my frens last week. n i reckon that its gonna be a regular thingy too. im gonna becum muscle woman.
i laughed damn hard at jessie's previous entry. MIME!!! hahahahah! i cannot imagine la. jessie, just thank God im not there to see ok. if not i'll laugh till my head pop lo! hahaha!!!

HELLO gorgeous pple!

this wkend would be rather bz for me. so happens tt every subject has work to be done. and so ive got HEAPS of assignments to work on! Guess what. ive even got hw for drama. The thing is Ive got to cm up with a 2 min MIME PLOT which i hv to perform SOLO in front of my other classmates. HELP ME! whats worse is tt this consist of 10% of my assessment. oh wells.
I think ive actually gotten use to the winter. what used to be a 3 layer dressing has gone down to 2. hopefully its not the body fats thats helping. haha! in fact, it could just be the sunshine tts kping me warm. which somewhat reminds me of Spore but air-conditioned. gonna miss mooncakes though. some1 save me a box for sept? When i arrived @ the airport on the 28june, the peeps (sam,san,shihui,jez,dan,gwen,benji,jue,mich,xw, mich & mel low) were there to send me off. thanks ALL for making your way down tt night (: and for that room surprise, LOVABLE!TOUCHY!KICKASS AMAZING! back home, i got so reliant on sandra being on the phone & sam being my shopping kaki. its like losing both hands man and i MISS them dearly.badly.miserably. My trip to melbourne was accompanied by my parents, sis & her Bf. of which they were suppose to leave on tues but extended their stay to thurs to assure tt i settled in well.

Time zone wise, its 2 hrs ahead here. It gets 3 hrs ahead by october then only 1 hr ahead by march. Ehh, im not too sure why..so just take it as it is for now. =/ haha. Melbourne shopping is FANTASTIMANIA! the convinience of getting there just tempts me everyday. but it aint comparable to cj's 132/105 to town. Here, pple tk TRAMS. and it cant get a lil slow mo if you're in a rush. the only worrying fact happens to be the shops closing time, 6PM ): shops excluding food & cinemas i mean. and i thought spore's 9pm closure was annoying enough.

Well, sporeans are the largest grp amongst my classmates. A moderate number from hongkong & Indonesia. and a few fr japan and just 1 lonely south korean girl. her complexion is too PERFECT and fair like those you see fr sk 2 ads, it really makes me feel disfigured.hahaa! Once in awhile we'll teach each other diff languages. and since English is alr the communicative language among us, we singaporeans can only teach others SINGLISH/hokkien. simi dai ji?/song bo/kiasu/walao/buay tahan etc. and sometimes on to the vulgars..kanina/lj..hahaha! On the whole, i would say that there are way more pretty girls(includes me. im kd!) than cute guys. dan, you should hv came =/ ahaa..

oh yes,bird are you sure u're a size 6? 8 is rather mini alr. surf brands are dirt cheap over here. esp in the factory outlets. roxy tubes were going like 10bucks! and caps for 12-15 only. will try to buy a heap before i get back. and crumpler's original store lies here in melbourne. the standard small size ones are only 90buckeroos while larger guy sizes are 145. and even if you dont like the standard ones, they also custom make crumplers for 200 onwards.cool eh..those interested can just get me to buy.

Big fun in the sun (:
yest's sentosa outing was quite a blast altho the numbers were kinda disappointing. apart from volley, jianny shihui & i rented bikes. I reckon its a gd way to explore the island if you're lazy to walk in the scotching sun. Anws, PALAWON beach is way cooler now. Renovations have certainly made it more vibrant & lively.More shops and bird cages? Dont get me wrong. its nothing like the bird park really.haha! We even had time to catch the macaws(is tt how u spell?) perform tricks. e.g add numbers. short yet enjoyable. Ive posted some of the picts up! but i will send them if you guys are online kay?

juz had two days of orientation.... i'm quite excited for sch!!! hate the some old tiresome thing of making new frens but the idea of starting to learn abt communications is getting me so nervous and excited. nervous cuz i really dun noe wad to expect juz yet... but really excited to finally be in the field of studies of my interest.. and jez ah... we're in UB, university at buffalo, state uni of new york.. not RMIT.. haha.... the last clan outing was so fun!! thou we didnt get to eat the dim sum we planned but ding tai feng was good too rite? haha.... we were happily eating our baos and xiao long bao.... woooo the soup in the bao.. suck it up, den gobble it up in one mouth.. YUM!

this day isnt as bad as it seems. for me at least. well, nathan wasnt much of a nag and the atmosphere wasnt as tensed compared to the last meeting. got an F for Ne, goes to show how much connectivity i hv with the newspaper. haa (: shall heed weehsien advice on national geogg. might help more or less i hope! anyway, todays ptm was fine. as my session was about to end, i turned ard and caught des holding up his shoe to check the insides. was abt to laugh but den again had to hold back. haha! seven more weeks to prelims people.

our class met up with mr loh at upper thomson for geog field study. well as soon as broke up into our grps, we were desinated to our 10m range of the stream for measurements. was horrid la we had to get our feet down in the supposedly clean stream to do measurements. but what we didnt expect to find out was that there was some grossly dead komodo dragon 20m upstream from ours! how sick!! and some of us washed our hands in the stream?? =l and den we got to find out tt it died from choking on a rat..how loser is that..haha!

anw, poor me. i went hm yest n puke puke puke... had a fever tt went up to 38.3! ): so i went to de doc n it rained!! how sad. den i ate my medicine n continue to puke puke puke. its lke my asshole juz auto close n everything start cumin out frm de top. hahah~ doc said i've got de viral flu... lucky fel came over yest to take good care of me... hee! n no, fel did not ponned today to take care of me. he overslpt n stayed hm to study for his chem test tmr. yup. alrte.. gonna watch sum teevee now.
